Menus

View Menu

Go To ►	This submenu provides commands for going back and forward (only supported in the context of the Focus Window), going to a record (in the Records Window) and showing the file root as focus person in the Focus Window (equivalent to pressing the Home button on the main application toolbar).
Display in Focus Window	Displays the selected person as focus person in the Focus Window.
More Workspace Windows ►	Displays an option to open each of the other workspace windows.
Research Notes	Displays all Research Notes in the Records Window.
Record Lists ►	Activates the Records Window and displays the appropriate tab for records of the following types: Individuals Families Notes Sources Repositories Media Places Source Templates
Special Records ►	Each Family Historian project has only one Header record, and should normally have at most one Submitter and one Submission record. This submenu has commands to open the Property Box and display these records. If there is no submitter or submission record you will be asked if you want to create one.
Named Lists ►	Provides quick access to any Named List. Named Lists are viewed in the Named Lists pane which is displayed, when enabled, on the right side of the Records Window. See also the Records Window's Lists menu.
Charts ►	Displays a menu with a choice of options for displaying charts and diagrams in the Diagram Window, including Saved Charts that you have created yourself. This is essentially the same menu that is displayed when you click on the Charts button on the main application toolbar.
Publish ►	Displays a menu with a choice of options for displaying reports in the Report Window. The same menu also has two other menu commands: Books & Booklets, which lets you select books to view and/or create a new book Websites & Family Tree CD/DVDs The former opens the Books window, where you can view a list of books to view or edit, and create new books. Websites & Family Tree CD/DVDs opens the Websites & Family Tree CD/DVDs Dialog. This is the same menu that is displayed when you click on the Publish button on the main application toolbar.
Query ►	Displays a dropdown menu with a choice of options for displaying queries in the Query Window. This is the same menu that is displayed when you click on the Query button on the main application toolbar.
Navigation Bar	Shows or hides the Navigation Bar
Citations to Source Record	Shows a table detailing all citations to the selected Source record, in the Results Window. If no Source record is selected, you will be prompted to select one.
Prepared Citation	Shows the current prepared citation (if there is one) in the Citation Window. See also Citation Window with a Prepared Citation.
Record Links	Shows all records that have links to the selected record. You can also 'go to' those records (view them in the Property Box).
Properties	Opens the Property Box to view the selected record. Tip: A quick way to open the Property Box for a selected individual is to press ALT+Enter. Also, in many contexts, if you right-click on a record, there will be a 'Properties' option.
