Menus

This section describes the main menus. Some menu commands require that one or more items be selected. If nothing is selected, these menu commands may be greyed.

The main menus are:

• File
• Edit
• View
• Add
• Tools
• Lists (only available when Records Window is active)
• Diagram (only available when Diagram Window is active)
• Media (only available when Media Window is active)
• Report (only available when Reports Window is active)
• Book (only available when Book Window is active)
• Map (only available when Map Window is active
• Internet
• Window
• Help

Many of the commands listed in these menus are also available from toolbars.

In addition to these menus, many items have context menus. These are menus which appear when you right-click on an item. They allow you to perform tasks and activities which are relevant to the item you clicked on.

Some windows and some dialogs have additional menus which can be accessed by clicking a Menu button on the window or dialog's toolbar.  See the specific window Help pages for more details.
