A single character string. The possible return values, and their corresponding record types, are:

H	Header record
F	Family record
I	Individual record
O	Media record
N	Note record
R	Repository record
S	Source record
U	Submitter record
B	Submission record
P	Place record
A	Address Record
E	Research Note Record
T	Source Template Record

Parameter 1:

A reference to a record.
