Record

Description:

Returns a particular record for a given record Id and optional record type. It is similar to the Individual function except that that function will only record Individual records, whereas this function can return records of any type.

4.0

Return Type:

A record. Returns NULL if no record found that matches the parameters.

Parameter 1:

A record id.

Parameter 2:

A single character string to identify the type of record required. If not supplied, this defaults to "I" (Individual). The possible return values, and their corresponding record types, are:

H	Header record
F	Family record
I	Individual record
O	Media record
N	Note record
R	Repository record
S	Source record
U	Submitter record
B	Submission record
P	Place Record
A	Address Record
E	Research Note Record
T	Source Template Record
