Open the Property Box to view a record, and then open the Citation List Pane. The Citation List Pane displays the source citations for whatever is displayed in the field at the top of the pane - and this changes automatically whenever you click on any field in any tab of the Property Box (see How to Record the Sources for Your Data).
To copy a source citation, select it in the list and click the button
just below the list.
To paste a source citation, first click on the field in the main body
of the Property Box, for the item of data that you want to add the
citation to. This can be in any tab of the Property Box (even the All
tab), and the data can be almost any item of data in any record.
When you do this, the
field shows the citations for that item of data that you already have
(if any). Click the
button below the list of
citations, to add the new citation. There is no limit to the
number of citations you can have for any one item of data.
When you copy and paste a citation, any additional details (including
assessment, notes, and even media) which are directly attached to the
citation, are also copied and pasted. You can view these
additional details (and add and edit them) in the Citation
Window.
