Toolbars

This section describes the main toolbars. In most cases, toolbar commands are also available as menu commands. Some toolbar commands require that one or more items be selected. If nothing is selected, these commands may be greyed.

There are 8 toolbars. These are

• Main (always available)
• Records Window (only available when Records Window is active)
• Diagram (only available when Diagram Window is active)
• Shape (only available when Diagram Window is active and the Shape Toolbar button has been ticked)
• Media (only available when Media Window is active)
• Query (only available when Query Window is active)
• Map (only available when Map Window is active)
• Web Search (only available when Web Search Window is active)

Many of the commands listed in these menus are also available from toolbars.

In addition to these menus, many items have 'context menus'. These are menus which appear when you right-click on an item. They allow you to perform tasks and activities which are relevant to the item you clicked on.
