Fields

Orientation Portrait or landscape.
Print tree lines, boxes and text in black-and- white only Tree llnes, boxes and text (that is, the lines, boxes and text that form part of a tree) will print in black-and-white.  Has no effect on pictures or shapes, such as text boxes.
Print background Check this if you want Family Historian to print background details (e.g. generation stripes).
Never print expansion buttons If you want to see expansion buttons when printed, you must uncheck this option, and ensure that expansion buttons are enabled in your diagram.
User printer default line thickness for thin dotted lines By default, Family Historian will ensure that dotted lines are not less than 0.5 pt in thickness when printed, as this usually gives better results. Tick this option if you want to disable this feature.
Dotted Line Printing A dotted line that looks quite satisfactory on one printer may look less so on another. This option allows you to experiment with various different ways of printing dotted lines to get the best results for your printer. Changing this setting will only affect how dotted lines appear in print. It will not affect how dotted lines appear in the Diagram Window. The default setting is “normal”.
Print Margins If you want Family Historian to leave margins on the printed page, these can be set here. When installed, the Print Margin settings are all zero.
Position on Page (in diagram units) There is normally no need or reason to change these values. If you wish to manually adjust the position of a diagram on the printed page (or across multiple printed pages) you can do that in other better ways. See for example the explanation of the Show Page Boundaries feature on the Diagram Toolbar.
