The plugin looks for CENSUS facts in your file.  If you havc not used standard Census facts it will not be able to tell you have census information recorded.

Hello Jane,

Some of my census have been import from from The Master Genealogist and therefore Family Historian have called them Census (family) or Son Census (family).

Will these still be recognised?

Derek Kain, May 13, 2015 at 7:41 pm

No I suspect they are custom Family Census records and the plug in only works with individual census events.

Long time FTM user now trying out FH.  This plugin is a godsend has solved so many interoperability problems. Silly thing is I don't see why Calico Pie can't do this directly as other companies such as regularly make sense of FTM's db encription. See Charting Companion version history

Like Ian I am a long time FTM user and have just discovered the power of FH v6 - I am going to need to go back and forth until I am sure which way to jump. Will rate plugin after I have used it a few times

Hi, I have tried this using this plugin as I need to add URL's as references...I can't figure out how to make the plugin run. There is no Open in Editor/Player button (I have FH6, trial version for now).  How do I make the beast work?

Henry, October 30, 2015 at 8:47 am

You can not run plugins when in trial mode.

FTM, RIP, provides the ability to see all citations for a given source in the base product.I am evaluating FH as a replacement for FTM and can't use this plugin unless I buy FH. But I might not buy FH if this doesn't work. Bit of a conundrum. Certainly can't give plugin a rating.

You can see all records linked to a source in the base program, this is just an enhancement to allow the Facts or other items a source is linked to.

I tried both the standard and Heredis routines yesterday for a GEDCOM export. All (data and media) worked fine - except for same gender relationships and families. Since the exported GEDCOM did not include same gender relationship, part of the information I was transferring was missing. Afraid the resulting GEDCOM files were not usable because of that missing data.
