Property Box: Facts Tab
Select Timeline Facts Dialog
You can view events and attributes (facts) in the
life of an Individual, in the Facts tab of the Property Box, when
viewing their record. Often, you will get a much better sense of
the most important events in the life of a person, if you see not only
their own events and attributes, but also key events in the lives of
their close relatives. To enable the display of these timeline
facts, as they are called, click on the Show Timeline
Facts button 
on the Facts tab toolbar. When timeline facts are displayed, they
are shown with a light grey background, so that they can easily be
visually distinguished from other facts.
The Select
Timeline Facts Dialog allows you to specify which facts you
wish to see when the display of timeline facts is enabled. To open
it, click on the menu button 
on the Facts tab toolbar, and select Timeline Facts... from the dropdown
menu.
Column Headings
| Birth+ | For each relative of the chosen type (parent, sibling, spouse, child or grandchild), a recorded birth, baptism or christening event will be displayed. If a person has more than one of these recorded, only the first will be displayed. Also, if a person has any recorded adoption events, these will be displayed. |

| Marriage | For each relative of the chosen type, all marriage events will be displayed. |
| Divorce | For each relative of the chosen type, all divorce events will be displayed. |
| Death+ | For each relative of the chosen type, a recorded death, burial or cremation event will be displayed. If a person has more than one of these recorded, only the first will be displayed. |
Fields & Buttons
| Parents | Required values for parents (a person may have more than one set). |

| Siblings | Required values for all siblings - including half-siblings. |
| Spouses | Required values for all spouses. |
| Children | Required values for all children. |
| Grandchildren | Required values for all grandchildren. |
| Select All | Tick all boxes. |
| Cut Off Date | If the Individual's date of death is not known, it will be estimated. |
| Show Surnames | Display surnames for relatives. |
| Clear All | Untick all boxes. |
| Restore Defaults | Reset options to installation defaults. |
