
The Report Options Dialog is used to configure the options for the report currently displayed in the Reports Window. The Report Options Dialog has several tabs, but the tabs actually available vary depending on the report type. The options available within the tabs also vary depending on the report.
In most cases, you can open the Report Options Dialog either before or after opening a report. When you select most reports, you will normally be prompted to specify a few key requirements (such as who the report is about). In most cases, there is a link on this dialog, "more options...". Click on this link to open the Report Options Dialog. Alternatively, wait until the report is open and then click on the button on the panel on the right side. If you take the latter approach, when you make changes to a report, you can click the button to view the affect of the changes immediately.
