Many types of fields have data entry helper dialogs associated with them. These are dialogs which provide help in selecting values, or in constructing complex values. In most cases you can open the helper dialog by double-clicking on the field itself. Some fields, have a little button with 3 dots on it, which you can click to open the helper dialog. In most cases, this button only appears when you click on the field itself, or tab to it, or if you move the mouse over the field. In the case of note fields, there is a bar instead of a button (with 3 dots halfway up it) - and in this case, the bar is always visible to the right end of the note field. Name fields have a link to the right of them ("more...") which you can click on to open their helper dialog.
The table below lists field types and their associated helper dialogs. Notice that whereas some helper dialogs are only ever used with their associated fields, and can only be accessed from fields of that type, some helper dialogs, such as the Note Window, are not like that, and may be accessed in other ways.
