I have a lot of my family being born, living, etc. in portsea. The plug-in shows this as being in Australia rather than UK but I can't quite see how to change the default. A few more instructions on how to do that would be helpful.

Excellent Plugin.

Took a few minutes of messing about to understand how it works. Could do with a set of beginner instructions at launch. Apart from that works very well, to the limitations of google maps anyway

A very useful report. It's also very handy to use the list as reminder of all the surnames that you are researching.

I was a little concerned when it said to install this in tools menu because I wasn't sure how to do this. I installed it the same way as my other plugins and it works great! Thanks Peter.

This would be an excellent plugin if it didn't hang up.  At least, it took so long that I pressed the cancel button and then instead of just canceling the plugin it closed Family Historian altogether.  My database has over 34,000 individual records and a very high proportion of them have notes.

I am using FH V5 and have tried to use your Timeline plugin, unfortunately I am having issues.

1. Using both Chrome and IE9 the generated html will display the timeline background with the timespan indicated but in neither case does it apply the events onto the timeline itself.
2. When I look at the html code, line 62 calls for "test.xml" which are the events I understand. By changing this file name to the corresponding mapI<number>.xml then the events will appear in IE9 but sadly still not in Chrome.
3. I suspect this is a security issue as I identified where to look when IE9 told me it could not load "test.xml" after allowing 'Blocked info'.
Hope this helps in resolving the issues.  Many Thanks
